I've been gone the last seven days. What did I miss?

Just what the title says. I've been out of town at a conference since last Sunday afternoon. Just glancing at the different forums, a lot has happened, but there's WAY too many threads for me to read through them all and piece it together myself. What are the big stories/developments of the last week? I know you guys will put together a great picture for me. Thanks!

Biggest news would have to be the Iowa rape case. Two letters were released by the victim's mom to the Press-Citizen detailing inactivity on the part of the administration in helping her. Also, the PC was the only news publication in the state to bring them forward.

(That's the VERY short version.)

You missed this site merging with HawkeyeFanatic.com, and therefore becoming about 3 parts Cyclones, 2 parts Hawkeye.

Anyway, yeah. I figured there would be some developments in the Iowa rape case. That's something I want to stay informed of, but I clicked into the In-State Rivals forum and got way too overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff. I was around for the first letter, but not for the second one (though I have heard of its existence). I know just from reading headlines that the Regents are reopening the case, and doing it with an outside investigation firm. I know that Charlie Weis apparently thinks Ferentz is a B.A., and that Ferentz also thinks Ferentz is a B.A. That's basically it.

Any news from the Cyclone sports front? I don't follow the recruiting thing at all, so those probably won't mean anything to me, unless we got a five-star or something.

Perhaps the biggest event of the week was VH1 airing a 2004 episode of The Surreal Life featuring a recording session with Jordan Knight et al. Cinematic perfection.
