I haven't seen any ISU plates saying something EIU related..

I have and it comes across as ridiculous and gives the impression that the intended target has the upper hand.

so - since this came up

I just moved to illinois - and have been wanting to get vanity plates. Unfortunately EVERYTHING simple has been taken. iastate, ia state, ia st8, iowast, etc etc etc. And i really don't want to put ISU in it, since the illinois state rebirds are 40 miles to the north, and indiana state is closer than iowa state. And I'm not sure that irene4cy or cyfan or any of that will be easily recognizable. SO, what options does that leave me with? I'm kind of thinking of CY S U or U OF CY .....any other easily recognizable ideas? I do have an iowa state frame around the back plate, which would help i'm sure....

In Illinois you can do a free vanity plate if you have a number at the end, so you could always do something like IOWA ST 1 or the like if you don't mind that. You have to make the Iowa State part only 6 long though.

My GF's plate isn't on that. I think its "CYZGAL" with no space.
