how about climb up on top of the video board with a big *** cyclone flag, or how about a separate Cy tunnel walk on the video screen before the band takes the field pregame.

Credits: 771,560 Year: 1992 | My advice is seek out the kids! I have a 3-year old little girl and we get the $99 basketball season tickets. It’s our one Daddy/Daughter event I hope we do all the way until she goes to college (and plays for Bill Fennelly). Cy is her favorite part about going to the basketball games! She is convinced that there is a bird’s nest on top of the scoreboard and that Cy even helps Santa deliver Christmas presents. If I’m seen crying during a basketball game it’s because of the expression on my little girl’s face when she’s shaking Cy’s hand (or because we still don’t have 30 points by the 10-minute mark of the 2nd half – either way you’ll see my crying).

And could some of you could shed some light on "Cy" and "Clone" for me? I hadn't heard of that one before but thats not all that old I guess so... from what I saw he was just the transition to the current Cy... a more moble costume rather than the stiff suit he used to be? Cy's sidekick, the agile - some might say squirrelly - Clone was introduced to Cyclone fans at Hilton Coliseum in January 1989. An irrepressible dancer and a hit with children and students, Clone complemented the more stately Cy. The duo worked in tandem for several years.
In March 1995, when Iowa State introduced its new family of Cyclone logos at the Big 8 men's basketball tournament, qualities of "Cy" and "Clone" were merged into one mascot, the friendly Cy. Inside Iowa State

My avatar is a pic I took from my phone camera at the spring game. Gotta love Cy on a bike.
