Travel Trailer Question

I have a trailblazer and am looking to purchase a travel travel so I can bring our one year old son to the football games. I have found a couple that I like but I am trying to figure out how much weight I can pull. The GVWR is 5,750. Does anyone know how that equates to how much the trailer can weigh? I have asked about five ppl and they have all told me different numbers. Thanks.

You're going to put the one year old in the trailer

I think that is illegal. It could get really hot in the travel trailer. He could over heat in there.

You can. It requires an RV parking pass though.

I think a car seat would work better.

RV and Tow Vehicle Weights

Try this link. It'll educate you on the ins and outs. Roughly speaking, your Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) minus your GVWR gives you the max trailer weight you can tow with the vehicle.

Will you have a hitch or ball on your bumper? The tongue weight will also make a difference.

Thanks. That helps a bunch. To all others, the trailer is just to take naps in and hang out in if it is too hot/cold out.

Can't you just let him nap in the back of the trailblazer?

And I, Bruno, will dive 1,000 feet into a block of cement. On my head, yet!
