Who would subscribe to Clone Zone?

I know this is probably old news, but I was checking out the Clone Zone events schedule, and there is ONE football game on there. Except for one soccer game, all of the rest of the games are volleyball games.

As an aside, anyone know of any links to getting the audio for the game over the net? The Cyclone Radio Network also still reeks, of course, so that would be the only way I would be able to listen to the game.

I'll probably re-subscribe soon to be able to watch replays of the football games and the coaches show.

Its nice for us out-of-staters, and usually if we have a good game I like to watch it more than once.

You can listen to games at Yahoo for like 4.95 a month.

The reason for the number of games was explained here:

BUILD-A-BURGER CHAMP * 12/19/07!!

There are allot more bball games on there. It is a good deal in my opinion. I've had it since spring '06 and I plan on keeping it.

Yahoo sports has good, slightly delayed, audio from the Cyclone Radio Network. You have to pay for it though.

Not to say I would ever do something like that...

Re: Who would subscribe to Clone Zone?

I don't subscribe year-round, but I will definitely pay for a month just so I can watch Thursdays game (I live out of state). 10 bucks to watch an ISU football game? Worth every penny.

If you only want to watch live FB and live MBB, then it's not for you. Plain and simple. It's been explained numerous times. Read the old threads (already linked in this thread).

Any CRN affiliate streaming a game on its own website is in violation of their contract with ISU and will be shut down. That's why there are things like signed contracts.

I'm subscribing to it for this month since I don't want to pay for cable just to watch this game... don't plan on keeping it though.

I may have to look into the Yahoo radio streaming...

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

Re: Who would subscribe to Clone Zone?

im going to buy it if i find good wi fi or a place with good internet over here.. so far all the internet as been pretty iffy.. but owell

Iowa State: Anyone who's a true college basketball fan needs to see a game at Hilton Coliseum. Nice is in the DNA of Iowans and the fans here are particularly gracious -- even when the home team loses but gives a great effort, they are appreciative.

ESPN.com picked Hilton Coliseum as the "Hot Arena" in the Big 12...coaches in the league noted that, "regardless of talent, the Cyclones have a home court like no other."
