Is Coral Ridge mall an option?

Will it continue to be backlit, or will it just be the black lettering? That would make a big difference in potential location.

as far as I know, it will continue to be backlit.

Hmm facing Highway 30.

Please keep them off of Hilton - Hilton is a beautiful building... cool as back lit letters are... they do not belong on Hilton. It would clash and completely detract from it's appearance

Oh we will fight, fight, fight for Iowa State, and may her colors ever fly!

I agree about keeping them off Hilton. If there is one building I want to stay the same on campus it is Hilton. Its the main reason I am glad the practice facility didn't get attached. As for the sign my vote would be one of the locations where it is visible from 30, either the Vet Med building or by the University exit.

How about on the disease lab building on I-35. Nothing on it to identify it's affiliation to ISU>

Re: Where should the old sign go?

The questions around the Vet Med and presumably the building that you're talking about Ketel are that people may think that is all of ISU when they see the sign as they drive by. That's what I was told anyway.

I voted for the skywalk as I think it would be cool overhead on a road. I like the idea of an arch somewhere as a grand entrance.

According to my "rep," I am no longer a glorious beacon of light...but a name known to all

I would like to see them over University Ave., facing South. Build something over the road, and put them on the structure. Yes I know, this takes more money...
