Cyclone Radio Update

I didnt know one of these existed today until I heard it in 96.5 today. It was a couple minutes on Jon Walters talking Clone, the press conference, the last game, and upcoming game. Is this on in DSM anywhere. Correct me if I'm wrong but I dont think they play this in DSM. Sure we get the Hawkeye update on KXNO, but where is the Cyclone update? KXNO is a member of the Cyclone radio network so one would think it would be played there. I may have missed it on there and if I have disreguard the rant.

I'm not an expert on sports, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night

No but remember simple formula...

WHO radio is the Hawkeye home and away voice.

KXnO is the little sister of WHO which is the Hawkeye home and away voice. Jim Zabel runs the sports department and Jon Miller is his personal cabana boy which = No real reason, concern, or pressure to add more Cyclone coverage.

Just mention the Cyclone on KXnO from time to time to try to maximize listeners, otherwise bend over and crap on them when felt like.

In Ames, they play the Cyclone Radio update on 1430 over the noon hour. It can sometimes be heard in Des Moines.

Yes I know, but KNXO is home of the Cyclones except for Football and Mens Basketball, so it should play those spots. It probaly has to due with the contact. 96.5 is a great supporter of Cyclone sports, so I am sure it is no problem for them to play this spot.

That just strikes me as funny. It's kind of like saying I own a car, except for the powertrain and the chassis...

Well yes you are right. Hows this? KXNO is the 2nd home of the Cyclones, its where you go to listen to the callin shows and womens basketball, if you live 5 miles from the KXNO tower.

Yea, what is the deal with that? I live in Ames and find the evening Fox Sports Radio entertaining(after 6, or whenever dumb and dumber are off), but i can not get the signal after like 7. Do they only put power into it during "their" programs?

Nothing in this world that is worth having comes easy.
