Charges Filed in FarmHouse Fall
Re: Charges Filed in FarmHouse Fall
Wow, that's ridiculous. The kid was drunk and fell out a window, that's his fault.
Re: Charges Filed in FarmHouse Fall

I guess the lesson to be learned is next party you hold with minors present, walk around to every one of them and say "stop drinking".
"Well you honor, I told them to stop. I tried."

"The charge is a municipal infraction."
Why am I not surprised. Here is another dandy Ames idea:
"Failure to prevent unwanted pregnancy, a municipal violation."
Or better yet,
"Failure to prevent increased crime in Ames."

Not really.. just don't buy it for them.
Oh and don't leave any open windows around your tailgate unsupervised.
-keep.

What's the point in sleeping in a big room with all the windows open year round anyway? I think I'd be sick 2/3rd's of the year.

can you imagine sleeping in a closed room with 30 others all year round?
THAT will make you sick.
They leave the windows open for fresh air... to help stay healthy.

I think we've found the problem to begin with.
Re: Charges Filed in FarmHouse Fall
Stupid questions of the day...
But is the Iowa State University student that got out of bed and fell out the window going to get charged with underage consumption, especially after asking those of legal age to buy alcohol? Is this a situation where the city just leaves it as a lesson learned?
I wonder if Farmhouse Fraternity will see other suits against here in the near future.
Hope the kid recovers.

A good lesson from the Red Stripe man. Whether it be weightlifting (or drinking...), a very good lesson. It just may prevent falling out of windows.
