Cap 1 Mascot Semis: CY is Losing- Please Help

How often do they update the vote total on the schedule? I saw the the total at 36,454, then voted three times without clearing the cookies and then checked the total. It was the same. Is it possible that we are wasting the votes if we don't clear the cookies? Or is it merely that they don't update the totals in real-time?

When I did about 20 or so votes it appeared to be updating while I was doing it. But there appears to be alot of people voting now so hard to say if they are counting or not

I can only tell you that at night it seems to get updated in real time. I've never been able to tell during the day since so many people are voting. I've never seen it say the same thing 2 times in a row, though. Mrs. yCy

Did you refresh the page with the total on it? AFAICT, it's real-time since it changes every time I refresh.

There are differing opinions. Mine is that people will be voting for the "underdog" or the less known mascot in the final. If it's between Cy and Testudo, the lesser known mascot is probably Cy. If it's between Cy and Thundar, it's going to be Thundar.

On the other hand, it's entirely possible that the vast majority of voters will only be fans of the two remaining schools. We almost certainly have a larger fanbase than NDSU, but Maryland probably has a larger fanbase than us.

So in short, I have no freaking idea who to vote for (besides Cy, of course).

But what I said about the underdog theory vs. the fanbase theory still stands. Just substitute Testudo/Maryland for Cocky/South Carolina.
