KJ Kindler(sp) I think was the name of an ISU gymnast when I was at school who later on became coach until she left the year after Pollard got here.

KJ was hot when she competed and things haven't changed much IMO.

Didn't Jessica Simpson get an honorary degree at University of Iowa? I think she was given it for her academic rigor used in learning her lines for "Dukes of Hazzard".

Not an athlete, but Brenda Frese (Stacy's sister) sure looked fine on the sidelines as an assistant coach. And I remember one VB game that I went to, when then-Coach Linda Grensing (later Crum) was wearing a suit with a short skirt and heels that brought new meaning to the phrase "legs down to here".

If we want to go to coaches wives, Beverly Floyd and Margy McCarney were...bombshells.

Most athletes that have been listed were a little young for me, unless you reach way-y-y back. I could mention a couple of women's players who always played pickup games with the guys at State in the late Eighties, but no one would probably remember them. And they're doubtless moms now.

Still good lists, and I always liked Tracy Gahan (among the comprehensive lists presented). Pretty, and really nice, too.

I think that Pollard really screwed up on the KJ Kindler deal. All she wanted was A/C in Beyer Hall for the gymnasts. It was even going to be donated and he said no. Now look we are back at being an average gymnastics team.

Mallory was cute when she was here, but not someone you would really say was HOT. There are alot more really 'hot' athletes there lately then my day but I always loved bumping into KJ.
