SAY A PRAYER
Cyclone fans, I would ask each of you to say a prayer for James Pollard, the youngest son of Jamie and Ellen Pollard. Next week, James will undergo surgery to remove a cancerous tumor. Following surgery, and once he has gained some of his strength back, chemo and radiation will follow.
James has been to heck and back and is only 6 years old. He has fought for his life more than once, and so far has always bounced back. Regardless of personal thoughts on Jamie, please when you go to bed tonight say a prayer for James. And continue with him in your prayers. He is a sweet kid that is full of life. If you knew him, you'd be sick about it.
Thanks Cyclone fans.....you're the best.

Re: SAY A PRAYER
God bless their family. I'll definitely include them in my prayers. -
Re: SAY A PRAYER
Is this appropriate? Has the family asked you to divulge this information? Beside the fact that it violates about every provision of HIPPA, it also violates the family's right to privacy. I say shut this thread down and delete it.

HIPPA: The Privacy Rule provides federal protections for personal health information held by covered entities ... and applies only to covered entities." Understanding HIPAA Privacy
If this information has come directly from the family and they have provided it with the understanding that it would/could become public, it is not a violation of HIPPA.
Granted, that is an important "if."

God bless the Pollard family in their time of need. I hope and pray all goes well and the cancer is removed/cured!

Re: SAY A PRAYER
I will also add my thoughts and prayers.
The young kids health has been public in the past.
I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone. -
Re: SAY A PRAYER
I'll add the medical personnel to my prayers for the family.
