I definately agree here!
Anthony Peeler from Missouri. 20-20 from the line versus us at home, 42 points one night in I 1990 if i recall. Mizzou was ranked number one and we lost like 95-93. Always wore a band aid somewhere on his body for some reason. Could not stand that guy.
Billy Tubbs in Hilton...
Jim Walden and Steve Welmer.
HAHAHA:biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh::biglaugh: Look at his finger there is a "band aid"
Every kicker we've had in the last 15 years.
Minus Shaggy's EIU game.
I hear Yelk's gonna put it all together next year!
Woody Hayes (sarcasm...kinda)
I cannot fathom someone who was a bigger villain than Ol' Raisin Face to Iowa State athletics. The guy knew that in order to make Iowa a national power, he needed to pound his in-state rival into submission, and he drove his program to that goal throughout the 80's/early 90s
I might say Dan Gable, but his leaving had just as much to do with our own incompetence (sadly just like John Cooper). Two incredible coaches that we groomed and decided weren't worth it....so close....
The stinkin refs that cost us a potential National Title in 1999/2000 will forever be the biggest villians in my book. They go by the name of :
Curtis Shaw -- This is the one LE unloaded on (and rightfully so) after the "BLARG!")
Athletics-hating university staff members
...and, from the Department of Obscurity, none other than Tork Hook.
Woody Mayfield (JO threatened to "punch him in the nose")
Curtis Shaw (even I hate that guy-and I love everybody)
Troy Sutherland (that Mizzou kid from the early 90's)
Hayden Fry -LOVED TO RUN IT UP (e.g. playing his all conference LB up 40 pts in the 4th qtr. and ruining his life as he blows out his knee-Vernon Rollins)
All Time #1 Marvin Pomerantz. Gave generously to Iowa while serving on the regents and destroying ISU by hiring boobs for President (see Eaton) and then selling off WOI.
Hawkeye conspirator- there is no doubt
