Good show Chris. Rhoads again empasizing that Oklahoma State was the best team he had seen all year is going to drive Iowa Fan crazy. I liked Whitvers views from a player perspective, Jamie was Jamie, positive for Cyclone Nation and I missed the asst coach interview but I'm sure it was good. I'm going to have to give Jon some traffic this morning and have a peak at what Hawk fans thought of your show. I hope you become a regular part of Des Moines sports radio.

And, you really don't need to even watch 'em to know they're a horrid basketball team.

If you are going to comment on a specific game, then watching it is a must. I didn't see ISU play last night and since I didn't I wouldn't go on a radio show and talk about how well they played. Doing your homework for radio shows is a must and whether you are a fan of a team or not, if you are on the radio you need to know about the teams in your state.

Does going off on someone that stated facts, even though he didn't watch the game, make ya feel better about Iowa sucking it up on the court? I mean, you've been beating this one much of the week. I know times are tough for Iowa MBB, but let it go.

As I said on the show, I watched the first half. That was what I commented on. If you actually go back and listen to my comments on the actual game itself, my direct words were "actually Iowa impressed me." My alarm was set to go off at 3:45 in the morning. I wasn't going to stay up till 11:30.

3. The part just before 7 with your picks was a bit tough to listen to this morning (doing picks solo, or a show solo, is quite difficult to pull off well) but I caught most of the Rutter interview which was great.

I've been beating what? The fact that Iowa isn't good right now in basketball? I haven't talked about the men's basketball team in my critique, what I did state was that if you are going to talk about a game (such as the football game on Saturday) you might not want to throw out opinions and facts if you didn't see it. I realize that reading must not be a strong point of yours but at least try and not put things in my posts that aren't there.

That's not true. Listen to Monday's show. I said numerous times that I watched the game specifically because I was going to be on the radio talking about it???

Hmmmm, the part I heard was you saying you didn't see the whole game and since I'm not in the car for the entire show I could have missed the other parts where you said you saw the entire game (and not just snipets) A thousand apologies for not hearing the entire show.

You do realize I'm talking about the football game right? I know it's fun to quote other posts where Chris is clearly talking about the basketball game against Texas (the whole early alarm for a late game) but it's not making a point that you are attempting to do

Because Deace, JDM, Murph, Fales, Kenny and Perrault watch every second of every state game.....

FWIW - I saw much of, but not the entirety, of the Minn FB game and the Texas and Witchita St bball games. I didn't see all of them completely, because they were quite honestly unwatchable.

sorry chris but I didnt listen...being a long time clone fan I see no reason to listen to squawk 24/7 radio witha bone thrown to clone nation every once in awhile!!!

stopped listening to kxno when cotlar left...he was the worst of the lot but no matter how bad iowa state was at least he featured the clones every week....
