ummmm, this is not at all meant to be a bash on wrestling because I'm a fan of ISU's wrestling program and always make a couple meets a year, but really?

Average attendance last year:

Womens Bball- 9,754
Wrestling- a little over 4,000 (highest attendance was 8,998 for Iowa)

And the womens basketball average has to be hold up for way more than the 5 meets than wrestling has to sell tickets for.

Your suggestion that no one cares about anything but Football, Men's Basketball, and Wrestling isn't really backed up by the attendance figures. I'd say on average about 5,500 more people "****ing care" about womens basketball than wrestling.

Success increasing throughout the athletic dept is a good thing for ISU and it's good to see continued improvement. But here's hoping the only three sports you care about see as much improvement as ISU athletics has seen overall in fall sports.

I'm sorry, but alot of us care. It is a tremendous statement to our entire athletic dept. and all of our student athletes. ISU is about alot more than fball, mens bball, and wrestling.

The only thing the anti JP coalition has here is to say that it just doesn't matter. That can manufacture and evidence that JP had nothing to do with it so they will simply say it doesn't matter like they do with a bunch of things that have worked for JP.
