Lol.
Yes, let's leave the premier football conference so we can play the likes of Iowa State, KU, KState every year. I would love to play football in the 45K Jack Trice instead of the 90K Swamp at Florida. Signed. LSU.

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come. -

Yeah, I'm sure they would love to move from a conference sharing $209 million in revenue to one sharing $139 million in revenue. Not gonna happen.
Plus, SEC people truly believe they are the best conference bar none.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -
except for the fact that the SEC payout would be less after those teams left and the BIG 12s would be greater after they joined. But the SEC payout would still be significantly greater since it would still retain these football revenue powerhouses; Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee

The loss of two lower population states like AR and LA would not be a huge detriment to the SEC. However, I know that LSU would never voluntarily leave the SEC...never. Not sure about Arkansas but LSU would never do it.

How about the big 12 invites Iowa and Minnesota? "Blamo"! The new CF approved swear word. -
Re: How about Big 12 asks LSU, Arkansas to join Big 12
Let's face it guys, the Big 12 is a dead conference walking. The leadership at the top of the conference sucks and it will lead to the end of the conference as we know it. I like the idea of a conference with ISU, Baylor, K-State, KU, Boise State, TCU, Utah, etc. Most of the Mountain West conference will probably take the spots of the teams that jump ship from the Big 12.

The Big 10 and SEC have the majority of the big football revenue power football schools.
But there is no excuse for the PAC 10 to end up being a survivor and the Big 12 being a dead conference. The Big 12 should be running laps around the PAC 10, and the fact that isn't happening has got to be a result of the lack of leadership at the Big 12 Conference level.

to those of you who think ANY SEC team would leave ask yourself this: what could ISU do with an extra 13 mil a year?
