Re: U of L fan visiting
"Just like you should have had the Big 12 football championship in Dallas every year (the most amazing football stadium ever built) - did you hear that Nebraska?!?! "
How's that working out?

Re: U of L fan visiting
It doesn't have to be KC. My thought was that with 20 teams you could basically treat it as two separate tournaments to get the finalists. Having something regional is going to draw more fans from the mid west area. More ticket sales=more money for the conference. I get that MSG is the place for the Big East championship, that is the way it should be. Just thought that this would be a way to make more money.

The uncertainity is haunting.
This is like the lottery draft and we have the 11th or 12th pick.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

Guess which ones are available? I'd go with
Big Ten
Pac 16 only if we went with the north instead of Texa$ & friends
Big East
MWC
ACC this will never happen
anything above would be a positive outcome
C-USA, MAC or Wac
SEC don't want to be associated with this scum

Re: U of L fan visiting
I would be ok with the Big East.. Obviously the Big Ten is best case scenario, I just don't see it happening. Basketball in the Big East would at least give us a recruiting boost and possibly speed up the rebuild of our basketball program.

I would be all for the Big East.

East (or northeast): Prov, Rutgers, St John's, UCONN, G-town, Nova, Seton Hall, Cuse, Pitt, and WV
Each division plays its own tournament. The east plays in MSG the west rotates between KC, Chicago, St Louis, etc. The two champions play in MSG for the Big East crown. Maybe I'm way off, but that seems doable to me. That would be the way to do it.

Question is, what do you think of the idea?

SEC don't want to be associated with this scum (except that really awesome ISU supporter that coaches in The Swamp) One minor addition ∞ -

Question is, what do you think of the idea? I think it would be a good for the existing BE and the schools of the B-12 North. As you can read on CardinalSports.com there is great support for it happening. We have to alleviate "your" apprehensions about BE schools jumping ship to other conferences. I am/was looking forward to the announcement of the "North" joining the BE.
As of Sunday evening it appears that Mr. Bebee is trying a last ditch effort to hold the B-12(-) together (according to Orangebloods.com). Apparantly he and the PAC 10 Commish are and have been crossing TX (not together naturally) this weekend talking to the schools involved in moving to the the PAC.
I guess we will hear something by mid-week.
