    Thanks for the article link! I had a Biology Lab class with Mike - he was one of my lab partners. Even though he was a "superstar" athlete, you'd never tell it from talking to him. He was so humble and down-to-earth - a great guy! Glad to hear of his life successes & that he still remains a person who values his Iowa roots!

    I ran across him a few times in the various gyms on campus. He was always very nice. Also glad to hear that he has had a successful career.
