Wow major props to her! What an outstanding student-athlete. Just setting aside her great athletic accomplishments, this is more impressive:

"The Fort Dodge, Iowa-native graduated summa cum laude in three years with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Koll is in her second year of veterinary medicine school at ISU. She is a four-time Academic All-American and seven-time first team Academic All-Big 12 honoree. Her other academic recognition includes Phi Beta Kappa (2007-08), NCAA CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year (2009) and USTFCCAA Scholar-Athlete of the Year (2008 and 2010). She earned the top two percent award in the ISU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (2006, 2007, 2008) and was a member of Chi Alpha Sigma. "

Lisa Koll isn't anywhere near as good as she's going to get either. I'd bet money that she medals in 2016 in the marathon.

I wouldn't be shocked if she medaled in 2012 in the 10K. That seems to be her race. At least that's where her training is headed. Pretty sure she's never run a marathon before, but I suppose 6 years is long enough for a change.

I hope her agent is working with the new CF Store to sell a 2011 Lisa Koll calendar. Something tasteful of course. She could easily generate some cash to tie her over until the big shoe contract gets signed!
