I've seen various Iowa State Yard or Garden stones around the Des Moines metro region. Does anyone know where one could find these in the Des Moines/Ames area?
I have one, but my brother and I just painted it ourselves. Pretty basic and nothing fancy, but just did yellow lettering (ISU) and painted the rest of the rock red.

Clearance right now at Ankney Hy Vee. But I've seen them in Earl May in Ankeny and Ames
Did you catch how much?
I was there about a month ago and saw one I was sure I was buying. Until, that is, I walked over, picked it up and saw it was priced at $139! About dropped it. Maybe that's market value on those things, I wouldn't know, but it seems awfully steep for a painted rock.

Thanks.
I though I told you to stay away from my yard
There are not many crowds or places in the country that have a better impact on the game than at Iowa State. The Cyclone fans are truly a sixth man. The place is so loud and always a fantastic crowd." - Former Kansas and current North Carolina head coach Roy Williams
I bought one at a craft fair a couple of years ago, prices were from 45 to 80. Guy would paint them on the spot and had all sorts of schools. May be a way to get one cheaper than the stores, but you may have to hunt around to find them.
