“The integrity of the building is still in question,” Malchow said. “That will come in the coming days. That’s put a real road block on assessing the damages.”
It's time to build a new arena - away from the constant flood threats.

It's time to build a new arena - away from the constant flood threats. a new arena with 20,000 seats. and a new Jack Trice. to bad we dont have money. There are so many great things designers could do.

So 6,000 additional seats? That seems unneccessary.

It's time to build a new arena - away from the constant flood threats. If only it were affordable.
Im curious how much that kind of project would cost. WFA was about 100mil iirc, but id imagine there were costs in building it in that location and in building it downtown. Certainly not cheap either way.

Re: Article on Hilton Cleanup Efforts
I guess I took the integrity comment as questioning the electrical, plumbing, and communications of the building. The comment proceeded him discussing these areas. If the structural components were in question there would not be cleanup crews in there. While the electrical, plumbing and communications would be a big deal to replace, it does not create a need to build a new arena.
Maybe the cameras and TV connection to ABC5 was destroyed so they can replace them with equipment that will allow me to see what's going on. -

Re: Article on Hilton Cleanup Efforts
It would be cheaper to build a ring levee in the area.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

DING DING.....Although not attractive they may have have to do something like this.
I wonder how tall it would need to be and if they could make it look better than just a large mound or concrete wall. I would think that it would have to be a pretty good size levee though :( Not sure how much it would cost, but they cant have this happen again.

Make sure you don't call the charge. But make sure you call the foul on the scrum....
