Man that was disappointing. Carr did not look good
O'Toole verbose in post match interview, then: "That dude is friggin' tough".
Aren’t you the guy who also said we would be behind after placings?
If Carr decides to use the same game plan, what happens? Has there been a match where no one takes any shots?
Was a pretty close match. In carrs wins he was able to finish head inside singles. Now his head keeps coming outside. Also may have to shoot less or improve setups, but that could reverse easily. Both are phenominal.
He will at nationals. He needs to be patient. Keegan is so good at countering and funking out of decent offensive shots. If you are going to take him down you have to be explosive and get it instantly. Not in Carr’s nature but he would be wise at nationals (should they wrestle) to dare I say stall/bore it up and try to hit Keegan with one single takedown.
Man now I’m just f***ing pissed after that match. Gonna need Yonger to salvage my mood

Last year in the Big 12's David was hitting a switch single on KOT. I think he has to maybe go that route instead of rely on the blast double.
I mean that UNI match was a perfect case of where the rules need amended or enforced. That was 14 minutes of a guy just trying to sit on Chittum. It’s an embarrassment.
Agree. Don’t see how Carr ever beats him again.
O’Toole’s best offense is countering. If the TD is not there initially, Carr should just go for the stalemate since continuing to push for the TD favors O’Toole.

Agree. Seems KOT got over the hump after those first two. Hope DC gets him when it REALLY matters but not getting my hopes up after watching the last 2.
His dad lost to Monday in the Big 8s. NCAAs were a different matter.
