Having seen his Army highlights…you might have to get used to this.
Hopefully you don't see it a lot - because if you do, that means Rocco isn't putting the ball in the right spot or the receiver is having issues getting to where the ball should be.
But yes, optics would be fun.

Isn't that type of catch something that's practiced though?
Beckham Jr. seemed to normalize it and it seemed to evolved to an actual fundamental over tight coverage, like an addition to the sideline catch with only a toe in bounds.
Some context is needed but making a play on something that's not like it's traditionally drawn up is one of the things that ISU seems to be low in unless you have guys like Montgomery, Hall, Butler etc. that make something marginal into elite.
It's a sure fire way to get your WR completely blown up and injured though... but it looks like there wasn't any defense on that pic of Alston. So you're right, they might have just been practicing.
If it's a end zone corner/out of bounds type of spot I'm not sure how this is an issue.
Like Lazard's catch in 2017 vs. OSU. It was a great catch, and I'd guess had been repped at some point.
Unfortunately, since we are all highly experienced in every topic imaginable, it makes it difficult not to overanalyze.lol leave it to CF to take anything from that pic other than Alston has some natural gifts

Sure, no problem. I can do that.Love the cardinal helmets with white jersey and gold pants! Bring it back!
I’m gonna guess that with eleven starters back, we don’t have to wait for any videos.Just 4 more months until we start to see practice highlight videos and determine this will be the year for the ISU offense.
