What point do those of us in central Iowa need to get excited for? Are k8's sufficient enough to warrant hauling the family out to darker skies tonight, or do we really need to wait for it to hit k9? -

The Iowa/Nebraska border is usually my point of reference. Anything that starts to build near Lincoln or Omaha is likely to peak halfway down I-80 before breaking apart in Des Moines. It’s when the storms start popping up east of Atlantic that I begin to worry. -

Nostalgia for the 90's and 00's
I've got a lot of nostalgia for video rental stores, especially once I started renting games. One thing missing from today's gaming is renting a game, starting a save file, and then renting the same game maybe a month later only to find that someone progressed your save file a little further... -
