Thanks much for your note, Angie. Although we're different by generations born, since I've read many of your postings, I think your soul must be kin to my own. Best wishes.
Hey, stop making it sound important! I still don't know what I'm going to be training them, so I'd hate to think I'm shaping them in entirely incorrect ways Oh well, I work best on the fly anyway!
Yep, just for another couple days. I leave for Ohio on Monday, stay at a friend's place that night, and roll into Athens early on Tuesday. Gives me a day to unpack and figure out what's going on before I help with training student leaders!
The one that really gets me is any time a restaurant has a french dip sandwich, they list it as coming "with au jus". Which translates perfectly to "with with juice."
Well in English I'm a huge grammar nerd; but for some reason in Spanish, it's not bothering me the same way. It's probably because verb conjugation was the bane of my existence in both French and Spanish during high school. At any rate, OCHO CINCO!!!
thanks for the 'rep', sunshine! I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but that guy comes off as a real tool. There's a huge difference between offering a legitimate opinion and being a complete jerk. The latter will get you NO respect.
