    College Gameday on Jan.30

Don't rule out OU at LSU because of all the hype around Ben Simmons

More conference realignment drama. Big Ten vs Big XII this time.

You could just use I-35 as the dividing line and make East and West Divisions WEST EAST Texas Baylor Tech OU Kansas OSU K State ISU TCU WVU Other than Tech and WVU, it's kinda crazy how close the other 8 schools are to I-35. Yeah, I know ISU is located west of I-35, but needed...

    Finishing Snyder Stadium

Hope they remembered to protect the exhaust port in this one. Honestly though, that looks turrible. It just looks, forced, like they insisted on filling it in rather than just having some grass or something there.

    Next coach options?

I got it! Ezekiel Elliott! Since he is smarter than the current tOSU coaching staff he'd obviously be a great choice.

    Nick Saban or Urban Meyer

Gotta wonder what would happen if the program could come up with the $10+ mil a year it would probably take to lure them to Ames. What kind of ego/competitiveness do they have? It's a whole lot easier to win at a place like 'Bama or tOSU with the tradition they have. BUT, if they could come...

    Coaching competition

Couldn't tell you much about Pac12, ACC, or $EC, but ISU's are definitely better than Illinois or Purdue.

    Coaching competition

UCF might be more attractive because of Florida talent and they were good the last few years, this season has everybody wondering WTF? But, I'd think a job at a P5 school would still be more attractive. Illinois is marginally better because of Illinois talent and B1G money. But, Illinois is...

Did iowa just lose their chance for the Rose Bowl?

The Rose Bowl died to me years ago when it joined the BCS BS and was no longer a Big 10 vs Pac 10 game. The final nail in its coffin was the 2002 season when Iowa and USC played in the Orange Bowl instead of the Rose. I'd much rather go to the playoffs. I doubt any FSU fans would have rather...

    Cowherd rips Iowa

Nobody's comparing Pitt to Alabama, ND, or USC. They ARE a P5 team instead of a lower level Sun Belt team that 'Bama likes to schedule. They're a perennial 6-6 team that has been to a bowl game every year since 2008 and are 6-3 so far this year. Somebody mentioned how E$PN is in bed with the...

    Cowherd rips Iowa

Georgia Tech was a 4.5pt favorite with the line moving to 3.5 at the start of the game. http://www.sports-ratings.com/college_football/2010/01/2010-orange-bowl-preview-odds-and-prediction-georgia-tech-vs-iowa.html Even though the Pac 12 and Big 12 play 9 conference games, they could still...

    Cowherd rips Iowa

Cowherd has always hated Iowa. Maybe he got his heart broken by an Iowa girl or something. Iowa is one of the very, very few teams that, usually, schedules 2 P5 teams in their 4 game OOC. Bama? No. Florida? No. LSU? No. Baylor doesn't even play 1 team in their 3 OOC games. So I guess he...

    Big 12 Expansion

Re: Not convinced more is better Iowa played Ohio State and Michigan in 2013, and last played Penn State in 2012. Last time they played all 3 was 2010, beating unranked Michigan on the road and #22 Penn state at home while losing to #9 tOSU.

    ISU ranked first nationally!!!

You have to follow it up with a cannonball. Considering some of the crap fields you see in the NFL, this is impressive. No turf swallowing a kicker's foot like in in Santa Clara, or the pure crud that makes up Soldier Field. Yeah, I'm a fan of real grass as opposed to the fake stuff.

    Big 12 Expansion

This is logical and makes too much sense. Are you not familiar with the way the NCAA works?
