    I'm a psycho that probably does 95%+ of my bike riding year round on a smart trainer. With two small kiddos, it's just too convenient, I can get my rides in before they wake up or after they are asleep.

    I just joined, thanks for setting it up. Have fun seeing all my indoor trainer rides lol. With a two year old and another baby due within a month, its really hard for me to get outside when the sun is up.

    I've heard a good rule of thumb is to spend as many dollars on shorts/bibs as miles you expect to ever ride in a day in them.

    We found a relatively cheap Airbnb in Gardiner for a few nights last September. We had pretty good access to the Tower Junction and Canyon Village areas. We also stayed a few nights at the Old Faithful Inn, and while definitely not cheap, it was a super cool experience.

    I've spent 122 hours on the bike so far this year and only 15 have been outdoors. Zwift is just too convenient. Plus I'm usually riding early in the morning so i don't have to worry about poor lighting and cars and such.

    Almost always it is cheaper/more effective to shed weight from yourself before you start worrying about the weight of your bike.

    I've seen my garmin show 31 bpm a couple times. Both were during long classroom sessions at work trainings in cold rooms. It was also very hard to stay awake lol. My average resting HR over the past year is 47bpm.

    1000X this! I love my Wahoo Kickr + Zwift subscription. I cant figure out why people would spend the same money for a system where the resistance can only be changed on a knob by hand.
