    My hope is that Pollard doesn't ever, under any circumstances accept an invite to play in the Liberty bowl if there is even the slightest chance the opponent is going to be Memphis. Been there done that twice and there is no need to ever, ever, ever do that again.

    I'd guess CMC will keep it vanilla and go with C/C/W. Although I do think W/C/C would look pretty good for something different.

    Since it sounds like Darien Porter is coming back I'd guess he gets the start. Will be a good opportunity for him to gain some more expierence and momentum going into next year.

    Since ISU is designated as the "home" team, will memphis move to the visitors locker room for this game or how will the logistics be worked out for those type of things? IS has played pretty good on the road this year, I'd suggest they request to be the visitors and go that route.

    Any news on the OSU CB Ryan Turner that ISU was in on? He'd be a nice pick up given what we are losing there. I thought I saw he was down to us and Illinois.

    Its not that bad of a schedule really. It would be nice if the first bye was the week of Sept 21 instead of the 14th but otherwise its not too bad.

    I think the Liberty bowl would be fine as long as its not against Memphis. We've been down that road last time and don't need to again. If its someone like SMU, that would be kinda cool considering they are moving to the ACC next year.

    I believe we do also have Arlen Harris as a 3rd back if needed. In a previous post someone referenced an issue with his transfer papers as to why he may not have seen the field much earlier in the season.

    Given the various predictions I’d have to say my preferences would probably be Texas bowl vs Texas A&M, Liberty bowl vs SMU or Guaranteed Rate vs Maryland.

    Bleacher Report now has SMU vs ISU in the Liberty Bowl, that wouldn't be a bad match up given SMU will be in the ACC next year. At least it wouldn't be against Memphis again. I suppose I'd take that but I still think ISU will be in play for the Texas Bowl.
