Being ripped and being a great wrestler are 2 different things. His results were ok but his biggest win was against Redding. Needs a lot of improvement to be AE level and I am a big fan of the Frost twins as I like their fight. -

Bad enough that he couldn’t wrestle this weekend. I can guarantee the decision to not compete had nothing to do with anyone else in the bracket. Let’s get back discussing the trials. -

Sure 2 World Champions would have no chance against 2 aging legends. Unfortunately, we won’t find out because O’Tool and Carr are scared to wrestle them when injured according to your guys expert knowledge and insight on the situation. Thanks for setting the record straight. -

If healthy, they would of both had a shot to make the team. One of the favorites no, but to say they had no shot is shortsighted. They are injured…period. If this was a NCAA Championship they both probably would have wrestled but Folkstyle is different than FS. I would not want to defend a leg... -

I would put odds 70% Bockman and 30% the field. Villaescusa, Schon, Hagerty, Bartelt and maybe even Helgeson are all young guys that could make a challenge. It all depends on Spring/Summer development. -

We are only interested in high AA probability type of wrestlers as we have tons of younger options that could easy be top 20 type of guys…Villaescusa, Schon, Hagerty, Helgeson and Bartelt all fit that mold. I know Rogers was highly rated but if MI thought he had high AA potential as a RS-FR they... -

I wouldn’t expect the portal to get heavy until after U20 Nationals (4/24) or at least mid-April. I assume most get kicked out of the room if they are transferring so they may not want to announce too early. -

I should have been more clear. At the social AE basically had the whole place crying with his speech. He knows the OSU situation could have ended much worse/different for him if ISU didn’t take him in. -

Yes. Because if all you are doing is chasing the almighty dollar then you will never be happy. AE only had one path to get back on a college mat and that was ISU. You really think he will leave now for greener pastures…he saw how that ended the last time. You obviously wasn’t at last Friday’s... -
