    Jeff did get his degree from ISU in 2005. He was hired by McDermott (just prior to him leaving for Creighton) to be an assistant, but then Fred made him Director of Basketball Operations instead. That is when Jeff decided to go back to Michigan as he had a preference for coaching.

    Latest on the non-con hoops schedule

    Iowa State played at Minnesota during the McDermott years, so it has not been all that long. We actually did a home and home at that time. We also played at the Metrodome in the late 90s for football, and lost at the very end of the game.
