TCU was never an option. Baylor was 22-5 vs. TCU and outdrew them 2:1 in the decades leading up to the Big XII. Houston might have been an option but had just gotten major NCAA sanctions thanks to John Jenkins and was 0 for the last 5 years or so...they were also the minority in their own...- JusGladToBeHere
