    Years and years ago it was Wash being the more wealth and Jeff was always pretty blue collar. They were YUGE rivals. It is sad how much both have dissolved. I guess I don't know much about what Kennedy is like but it was often the outskirts/Hiawatha/Robbins mixed with farm kids from Palo.

    Your last part is basically the same thing. Since ISU has been average, they have less players get drafted than good teams because they have less good players.

    ISU has been pretty average and still had guys getting drafted in the early rounds. 'Lots' isn't correct but it's been more frequent.

    I suppose this helps but ISU has also had lots of guys get drafted despite being overall pretty average over the past decade+.

    Neither early or late rounds guarantee anything outside of an early contract/ signing bonus.

    I could argue Montgomery is outperforming being a 3rd round pick. Not crazy gaudy numbers but often the most steady/reliable piece of the offenses he's been on.
