    Small coffee table I made for a friend. Liked how it came out, especially for a scrap firewood piece. (Walnut finished with Odie's Oil) Bought the legs off of Rockler.

    Glad we have options. I would go with the way above the other way around, especially since I prefer malty. Will definitely try the IPA, but I have to be in the mood for one. Sours -- hard pass.

    I like Odie's Oil. No mixing either. I have use Arm R Seal, but not on poplar. I like it, but it is a littler more sheen on it than I would like for some projects. I also like the wood bowl finish from General as well.

    I can confirm that I was not the old guy behind the scorer's table (that guy was cracking me up). There was a lot of emotion going on close to their table at that time. I will also not deny making any baseball references.

    Toppling Goliath is putting a brewery in Des Moines. So probably not going to happen. Personally I would rather see Iowa Tap Room branch out as opposed to just one brewery going in.
