TJ best coach we have ever had?

Eustachy was very good and his teams had a similar toughness but TJ is on par with him IMO, but TJ will have more upside just because he has his personal life in check. The other thing is I'm not sure LE would have been as good at finding player long term as TJ will be. Tinsley was an awesome...

    Lipsey

He probably is playing through an injury. It's really unfortunate because he was playing at such a high level before the shoulder injury. He willed himself to a huge game at Texas and last night but probably can't do it regularly. Fran two weekends ago said he is not practicing a lot. Its...

    *** Official #6 IOWA STATE vs #2 Houston Game(Day) Thread ***

Yes, Snead had a better game and Lipsey seemed absent. Snead is a 4 year guard and Lipsey a true soph. I just don't think Lipsey is completely healthy. Fran indicated he isn't practicing much. He really has only had one real good game since coming back against Texas. I hope he can get...

Did everyone else think ESPN+ broadcast pic quality and motion

I think I went in through Roku last year, was using g nvidia shield pro this year. I upgraded my LG OLED but I don't think that was it.

Did everyone else think ESPN+ broadcast pic quality and motion

Was vastly improved over last year. I thought last year's pic quality was horrible and the motion of the game was horrible also last year. I was pleasantly surprised yesterday.

    Greetings from Utah!

Utah is a great addition. Looking back to the expansion process I think I can appreciate Utah's loyalty to the league since joining the PAC helped continue to elevate their program. Maybe its a perspective in hindsight Big 12 fans can appreciate.

Bars that carry ESPN+ in DSM metro

You will spend less on ESPN+ than the markup on drinks and food going to the bar. That being said the picture quality of ESPN+ is horrible. I really hope ESPN works on upgrading these broadcasts.

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

Yes ASU is tied to the Phoenix market but they don't get the ratings Oregon does or UW with a large market. Oregon vs OSU last year got over 7M viewers and had a huge game with Auburn 2 yrs ago just under 7M and ASU can't sniff that kind of T1 or quality T2 content ratings usually. I think...

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

The SEC is interesting because every addition from the ACC outside UNC/Va or VA. Tech/NC St. if unsuccessful in getting the two flagships is nice inventory but redundant to their current market and really a defensive play against the B1G. The B1G wants the markets and NEEDS additional...

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

If it's one or the other I would take UW over OR all day. It's a bigger market and better academic institutional fit. OR better hope 4 get in.

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

I think FOX/NBC/CBS would possibly pay for a Foursome of FSU, Miami, Clemson, Ga. Tech. So ESPN wouldn't be forced to pay for those increased revenues. ESPN could probably stomach just paying for UNC & VA over that same time period to keep them in their conference. I think those ACC revenues...

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

Yes OR & UW want the B1G although some think the B1G could only take on of those two with Stanford being the other team. For OR & UW's brand going forward do you want to be in a California, scratch that Bay are market based league or a Texas based league for tv ratings? The state of Texas...

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

I don't think leagues can dissolve by vote very easily because once a team like OU or UT has a destination I have seen where they have been deemed a disinterested party and don't have a vote. This makes sense those left behind don't want schools going somewhere else determining their fate. I...

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

FOX can have OR & UW content at a smaller price in the B12 thats for sure. Also, what's better for tv ratings for networks with OR/UW content and OR/UW schools concerned about brand valuation for future realignment? A Texas based league or a California, scratch that Bay Area based college...

ESPN, Fox Open Discussions for Next Big 12 Deal

In this scenario think you need all of the leftover and new B12 schools protected. So in that scenario you take the 8 remaining B12, BYU & UH and combine them with 6 or 7 PAC schools(eventually at least 2 of those are going to the B1G). You can then shift over WVU, Cincy and even UCF to the...
