When I see Royce White at 6'8" and 250lbs, all I can think of are guys like Fizer and Beasley.

This years team doesn't look all that bad. Still think McKnight and Railey are going to have to contribute if we are going to win at all this year.

Can't help but peek at next year...Allen, Babb, Booker, White, Cook, Odunsi...looking good.

Does anyone actually know anything about Odunsi? I have yet to see a single scouting report/grade on the kid from any of the major sites.

Judging from his picture I'd say White is 245 lbs plus 5 lbs. of beard.

He got his hair cut...and in music class this morning, his beard had more hair than the top of his head.

I would be extremely happy if Railey at some point this year could start at center instead of JVB. That would be a dream come true.

If we have some FR this year that look good, and our transfers can stay out of trouble, etc........we're in for some excitement in 2011-12

Railey's recruiting info had him anywhere from 6-9 to 6-10, so coming in at 6-11 is encouraging. The footage I have seen for him shows him posting the ball well and using his height and wide base to score around the hoop. He ran pretty well too. He appears to be a better version of Justin Hamilton when you watch that. Of all our recruits, he was talked about the least, but I think he will start right away along with Ejim. I am expecting a Railey, Ejim, JVB, SC, DG lineup to begin, with plenty of Darion Anderson and Demarcus Phillips. McKnight and Godfrey off the bench in the low block. We still do not have much depth, but this team should beat some of our preseason opposition.
