Cyclone newcomer Royce White had one of the strongest bench press test outs in mbb history. White benched 185 pounds 22 times. The next closest Cyclone had 14 reps.

Shocking? Our returning players are Garret, SC, JVB.... not exactly the most muscle bound of basketball players. The rest are freshman and newcomers who probably haven't been on hardcore weight training programs.

I kind of read it as the next closest ever was 14 reps, not next closest on the current roster, which would be shocking. After I read it again, I guess it could be interpreted both ways.

Luke Harangody- 23 (this is the most impressive one to me).

23 was the highest total from last year's draft combine, with the average being 11.37. That makes Royce's total pretty damn impressive.

Yeah, you're probably right. I have no concept of how difficult benching 185 pounds is. All I know is that I probably couldn't even do 1.

I remember quite clearly that, in those years, Eustachy used to love mentioning that Stevie Johnson blew everyone else on the team out of the water in bench press.

This seems good, but the strongest player that I can remember was Curtis Stinson. I thought he could rep 225 about 10 times. I remember hearing that he was stronger than Homan. A primary reason why he was the best rebounding guard that I can remember.
