Can someone please explain to me why the Ath Dept / Mens B-ball team thought it a good idea to have 4 Sunday afternoon games in the Non-Conf (I realize 1 game tips at 5:30 close enough)? I don't know, there really isn't much going on from mid Nov to mid Dec in the sports world on a Sunday is there?
As an ISU season ticket holder and a Bear fan I feel rather fortunate that I only have 1 conflict out of the 4 Sunday dates (Bears-Vikings Nov 14th, ISU hosts Alabama St @ 1). That may not be the same for others. Good luck getting the casual sports fan in Des Moines to the Well on Nov 21st. Just makes no sense, especially when Alabama St, Texas Southern and Dartmouth are 3 of the 4....
I dont mind making the drive on a Sunday to catch a game. I'll end up going to all the Sunday games because it doesn't interfere with work. But yeah depends on your situation.

Also during the weekend of graduation, Sunday is the only day Hilton can work.
this is my theory, schools like Ala St and Tx So need to travel
every week in the early season to support the program. Playing
Friday/Sunday reduces the # of classes they miss. 12/19 v.
Dartmouth must be the conflict with graduation.
They had 4 non-conf games on Sunday last year too. Don't know why it's such a big deal. There are a lot of games to fit in at Hilton before the conference games start.
