I'm not reading too much into that exhibition game, we obviously had much better talent than they did and more athleticism. Once we play a few decent D1 opponents we'll be able to get more out of what we are trying to do. I think they are going to try and run more when they can but at times I think we are going to be at a size disadvantage against teams with good post players. Again, need to see our guys up against some more comparable talent to get a better read on how we will be.
This season will be fun. It will probably not be a great season in the win/loss column, but it will always be remembered as a great season because we no longer have to watch another year of terrible Mcdermott ball. The last 4 years have been like "Groundhog Day" for the ISU MBB team.
Also will be exciting to see how the freshman progress, as they should get a lot of time. Would love to see Garrett end his career on a high note... we have to give this guy some props for sticking with the Clones for 4 years while teammate after teammate transferred.
