McKnight
Went to the game last night and I was really interested to see how all the freshmen would play. I noticed McKnight didn't come off the bench untill the last 45 seconds. With our lack of bigs does anyone know why he isn't playing at least a little more than the last minute?

Re: McKnight
Not ready yet. I'm pretty sure he didn't start practicing until last week.

Re: McKnight
Talk all fall is that he has the longest way to go (which is kind of scary considering our frontline).
He also just starting practicing due to some health issues.

It didn't look like they were running any complicated offensive sets; seems like it would have been an alright opportunity to try and get him a few minutes here or there and get some game legs.

Also - I would think that of all the competition, he would be be MOST ready to get some minutes against these early non-con teams. Maybe tomorrow he'll get a couple minutes in.

Re: McKnight
Don't expect much from McKnight this season. He should be redshirting but the staff doesn't have that luxury right now. I wouldn't be surprised if he redshirted next year to be honest with you.

Re: McKnight
Trust Fred and staff... be patient.

The games count now... Practice happens during practice and during the last 2 minutes in a 30 point blow out....

Re: McKnight
Early non-con games against the Northern Arizona's of the world are nothing more than a scrimmage that counts on your record. It's a good time to get everybody in the game, if you ask me.
I do, of course, trust CFH; I apparently just had some slightly inflated expectations for McKnight.

Maybe you should just wait and see
what Fred does to get his team ready
for the season.
