drake plays man now

I'm going to go with ISU, though I'm sure this one could go either way.
I absolutely love the way Fred has them playing. Attack the basket, green light to shoot, aggressive on defense. I spent the first half today thinking, "now this is how basketball should be played!". I'm sure the kids love it.
If drake runs a zone I see jvb playing a huge part in this game.
Drake has some talent this year and they looked pretty good Saturday night. Trust me, we would love to have Seth Van Deest down low. But ISU still has an overall talent advantage and with the home court, should win it. If it was at the Knapp Center I would be quite a bit more nervous.
Iowa State wins because of superior athleticism and guard play....I like what i'm seeing Jake Anderson, and Ejim should physically manhandle his competition along with Godfrey.....I watched Drake last night and they seem really weak in the post play...
How many drake fans are going to show up do you think?
This is the first "step-up" in the competition after the opening games.
Although history doesn't mean J-S*, Drake at Hilton is historically competitive.
Why would I say one thing, and then contradict it? Because I just did.
Anyway, ISU should win by 8-10 points. Cyclones seem to have some good chemistry so far, and Drake isn't supposed to make much noise in the Valley this season.
One concern, if the game stays close, ISU's inexperience could make it a nail-biter. This could also be a game we pencil in as a win, but becomes a growing-pains loss.
Drake is not very good this year. I have watched them play this year and I'm unimpressed. Rayavonte Rice is non-existent so far. He easily gets discouraged, the man we need to watch out for is VanDeest, this guy and compete with our low post players along with stepping out and hitting mid range shots. This is a game ISU should hold a lead through out and win by 10+.
Jake does not like to lose to MVC.
Hey Cyclonefanatics! - Semi Troller here. I peak at this board every now and then. Always pull for the Clones except for this one. I'll offer up to my friends in Ames a few tidbits on Drake. Very young team with only one senior. BUT .. two #1 recruiting classes, back to back. I came to Drake for undergrad in '78 and this is with out a doubt the most talent Drake has ever had on one team. Rotation will go 10-11 deep with out losing anything. So far Drake has played only man to man. Woods has not dresed due to an injury, not sure of his status for Wed. I expect Drake fans at Hilton Wed. night. Not sure how many fans but I'm positive the blue will be noticeable. Drake is a very long, quick, athletic team that can drain the 3 or score in the post. Bulldogs seems to be pushing the tempo more than the past 2 years. Watching Drake in either the exh. game or against Texas Southern and claiming to have a scout is fool's gold. Just like ISU, Drake has so many new faces that it is hard to predict much with confidence. I could put on the colored shades but it is not reality. If one team shows up with their A+ game and the other with their B+ game, that could be enough for an 8 - 10 point win either way. Each game that goes by defines what these teams are all about. Like Clone fans, Drake fans are just starting to read the pulse of their team. In any event, good luck and may the best team win. (An injury free game!)
Does anyone remember the game 2 years ago? We had a heck of a time getting back to our car due to the ice.
