We have twice as good of a guard game. I think you guys are sitting yourself up for a surprise. Drake wont beable to run with us up and down the court. We should handle this game by 12+.

Drake has a lot of young talent. I'm not sure what to expect, because sometimes they look terrible, and some times they look pretty tough. Not sure what to make of this game.

They have. Two years ago, it seems like they had a pretty solid win. Four years ago, they won after it was ruled that Dodie Dunson's last-second three was after the buzzer.

They'll play us tough no matter what, and they do have young talent, so I don't know what to expect. I have no problem saying that we can win, but I don't expect to beat them down at all.

Basically, I think we'll be glad to have experienced and talented guards, and that should make all the difference for us.

With the new style we play, we will get some easy baskets, and we'll hit some threes.....I think the only question is, will we continue to improve on the boards. I see that as Drakes' only chance to threaten us is if they can dominate us on the boards. Jake will slow down there best perimeter guy, and one good post guy down low will not be enough for them to beat us.

Unfortunately, we've gone back to the "Old ISU", ie Nance and Trickey, years. I don't see much homecourt advantage at Hilton until people start showing up again.

John has to sit out a year just like the other transfers. He has been in the sweet black velvet sweat suits with the rest of the transfers in the 1st row of the student section.
