ISU -8.5 VS. Drake

I think the line is a little more reasonable this year. I made bank last year off Drake being a 1 point favorite. Good to see a little more respect from Vegas.

The spread is actually almost exactly the same as last year once you factor in home courts. Vegas usually gives around 4.5 points for a home court advantage in CBB depending on the arena. ISU +1 @ Drake would be ISU -3.5 at a neutral site and ISU -8 at home.

This line is essentially the same as last years line, with just the venue changing.

I think that sounds about right. Hopefully the fans show up.

They'll get their points down low, but can they stop ISU in transition on the road? I think ISU's fast break/transition points outweigh their half court points in the paint for an ISU win.

That line worries me. I'm not touching it.

This game determines whether we have a long ways to go, or a really, really long ways to go in regards to rebuilding this program.

It makes me nervous enough that I havent bet it yet. There are coincidentally a lot of those picking 9 point clone wins on the other thread. Thats too close for my blood!

We should cover it. I know Drake has more of an inside game then us, but i just dont see them keeping up with our up-tempo offense. If they keep it close its going to be in the first half. Then we should pull away in the 2nd.

I think Jake takes away one perimeter threat from them. The question is whether their big guy can score enough to keep them going.

Now, if Diante shuts down another perimeter guy, then we win going away. But I think we can count on Jake shutting down one guy.

I agree Jake will shut down Wedel, and I think we wear them out by early second half.

I got in at -7.5 and also made bank, the last 2 years of this game have been very very good to me.
