Last times we've destroyed someone like this
So far, the last one I can find (but I question calling this a real opponent) was 12-29-1998.
We beat Southern-New Orleans 112-43.
Still looking to see a real opponent.

Re: Last times we've destroyed someone like this
I know I missed a couple. There were 1 or 2 where I questioned whether the team was worth including. I have no doubt that there are some more (like the UIC one) that I just plain overlooked.
Feel free to fill in the gaps on this. These are fun scores to look at.

In all the victories mentioned so far the opposition got to 50+. That's how good this defense is.

I think 2 of our opponents have shot in the 20s. Have all three? Or am I thinking of the wrong percentages?
Our defense really has something going for it.

We are a hyper-agressive defense that gets lots of TO and capitalizes on them. Drake turned the ball over 20 times during the game and that led to a huge chunk of that margin of victory.

Our defense really has something going for it. Northern Arizona shot 41% on us but the other two were in the 20s. Importantly for the NA game we forced 17 TO on them.

That Texas Arlington game is the one i belive
where Meyer took it up the court and from behind the free throw line threw down the biggest dunk i ever seen. Ah... the good old days of being able to watch Iowa State bb on tv. I believe Keith Murphy was doing the games then on channel 5.
