Why no tv coverage for the ISU/Creighton game

I remember growing up back in early 90's all of ISU games in the pre season were on WOI-TV and ever since Mediacom came into the picture they took that away....

You mean when the University was forced to sell WOI-TV?

I would guess the fact that the previous two games we played at Wells Fargo were on tv and we did not draw good crowds at all. The fact that there is no tv has to be an attempt to get fans in the seats from both teams.

Is there any attempt at logic hidden in that statement?

Thx to Mediacom we're getting some games televised that no one else seems to be willing to do. They also seem to also pick up a game or two each year early the football season. This is the reason many of us stay with Mediacom.

That was actually only a couple of years ago. I'm guessing that the CTN affiliates were not on board to carry the non-conference games as they intruded into sweeps month. I doubt that the athletic department was using attendance as their main motivator.
