It makes me mad that he says ISU was "given the game" like the guys didn't work their ***** off to win it. He totally undermines their play, then he'll complain about not getting access all season.

Just agree with him and tell him to petition the NCAA. Arguing with him 'creates' radio. Agreeing with mutes his point. Kinda like Clear and Present Danger. "No we were good friends". "We were great friends". Give him no where to go.

Completely agree. I understand that block/charge is probably the hardest call the refs have. But Godfrey was set for almost a full second before the content. That is one of the worst blocking fouls I've ever seen.

They don't seem to claim him. His only connection to Creighton is he passed through Omaha for a couple of years before he got fired. Didn't go to school there, has no connection to the school, probably can't say The Rosary. He's no more Creighton than you or me. I remember Blue Jay Cafe as an active message board a few years ago. Pretty dead now.

I actually have no problem with the call. It was a 50/50 call and the refs usually put their hands up to signal whether the shot is going to count before it actually goes in. I'm guessing they gave JVB the benefit of the doubt, and then it actually went in. 9/10 that shot is a brick and no one ever talks about it again.

The refs told both coaches before the game that there would be no review, what were the supposed to do? Say, "Just kidding!"? It was a split-second decision and the refs stuck by their call, as they should have.

This sums it up perfectly. Both Hoiberg and McDermott signed off on this.

Pretty funny Perrault thread from MVC fans. It truly does appear that Matt's true talent is a toss-up between whining on Twitter or burning bridges.

    from that link:
I know for a fact what CU fans are really upset about is how he was somehow appointed the internet's spokesperson for Creighton. He continually embarrasses their fans with message board fights and the way he runs thebluejaycafe.com as a dictator. The University needs to take a proactive approach to Matt and get him to step down before he starts a real problem with the NCAA or a donor. He is like a bipolar ticking time bomb, it's not if but when. He holds countless grudges, has agendas, and will never admit wrongdoings. Like it or not he may not technically be the spokesperson or paid representative of the school but he comes off like he is. If I was the University and had someone like this continually talking about my school I would be very nervous.

The last shot was so close. He released it right at the light, horn, clock to 0. Matt rips on ISU fans all the time for being whinney or whatever but when the shoe is on the other foot he is the whinney one. People in Omaha say the reason he was ran out of town once is because he was wrong about things all the time and when called to the floor on it he would make more stuff up. He is all about making one thing look good and that is himself.

It's gonna be a long winter for Matt. The valley isn't looking good, and so far Fred's doing well. Those 2 facts are killing Matt. He was obviously crushed by the whooping we put on Drake, and he's now going to the most pathetic excuse in sports, blaming the refs. Creighton won't shoot that well beyond the arc again this year and they still lost. Tough break for Matt.

You are wrong the Valley is a great conference it is better than the Big 12. Drake is an up and comer, Creighton will be good by seasons end and UNI will be good again. There is no excuse for a Valley team to lose to a Big 12 team.

The only reason this game was close is because the Creighton coach put ISU in its current players situation.

Eventually he's going to run out of excuses to not talk about ISU MBB too.
