Way too early to get excited, but it is still nice to see an ISU BB team picked to finish dead last in the B12 get some deserved (at least to this point in the season) national recognition.

Not only is it too early to get excited, these rankings are complete garbage this far this year. They are in many ways backwards with so few games in the data.

# 27 in the rpi yesterday, but neither mean much of anything right now. Give it 2 more weeks. The data is almost backwards at this point in the season.

We beat 3-0 creighton and dropped. Losing to creighton would have been just as helpful for those rankings yesterday. they won't make sense at all for a few weeks.

I like it but you also need to look at our schedule ranking which is 227 at this point in the season.

True, but 13 teams ranked ahead of us have schedule rankings that are worse than ours. Not too many teams are playing tough competition at this point in the season unless they are involved in one of the major early season tournaments.
