    That's pretty amazing for being picked to finish last in the Big 12. One of our fans must have been drinking some kool-aid with an AP voter, but I'll take it.

    Keep in mind that "knocking on the door" doesn't mean "ranked." Just means more votes accumulated, and maybe seeing our name somewhere around 27-28, which would just be huge for us right now.

    Still early, but just seeing Iowa St. show up in the "receiving votes" list is refreshing. When is the last time ISU received any votes? Possibly early in '06? Or would it have been sometime in '05?

    Since we buzzing with early-season hopes, here's another fun list .... Someone else posted Sagarin the other day before Creighton game, and now it's even better. It's cool to see ISU this far up the list:
