Our guards will be the difference in the game. DG is the most experienced on both sides and we will rely on that. We win 84-70.

You do know we have 3 games before then right? And 2 of them are going to be very difficult games (UNI & Cal). I'm all for breaking down a big game ahead of time, but I think we should be worrying about the UNI game first. Just my opinion...

    Re: Iowa Game

Well, as a fan, it is my job to look ahead and worry all I want- I have been analyzing the Jan. 26th TT game for about 2 days now, and I just dont like the match up.

I will let the players and coaches worry about UNI because that's their job.

I thnk Iowa will miss Cully quite a bit against ISU and other guard oriented teams. Cartwright is pretty good but doesn't have much help.

I agree with this school of thought if you are a coach or player.

Way too pre-occupied with UNI and Cal to care about this game yet.

    Re: Iowa Game

While fans are allowed to look ahead as far as they wish, I think we will learn a lot about our team when it goes on the road for the first time and plays a decent UNI team and then faces our best test of the season thus far against Cal at home.

In similar fashion, we will learn a lot about iowa as they have Wake Forest on the road and UNI at home before facing Iowa State.

Look ahead and predict all you want, but the more we see each team play the better the predictions will become.

I don't care what happens between now and then, on the road or not, we better beat Iowa.

I'm expecting a double digit win.

    Re: Iowa Game

Iowa is terrible this year. Theyve lost to south dakota state and long beach state. No need to break it down.
