I actually do remember him a little bit. There isn't much to remember, but yeah, I remember him.
Seemed like he was pretty fast and aggressive with the dribble (as a freshman) for the few minutes he played.
Basically, he looked like a freshman that really needed time to develop instead of playing right away, but that's been the deal around here a few times the last few years.
Wasn't Brister from Texas and after a few months here he went home because he found out he was having a kid?
That was the rumor (and probably true).
I don't think it was a few months. He may have finished the fall semester, or may not have. I really don't know on that.
He was part of the freshman class that included Diante and Craig Brackins. Obviously, that doesn't mean he's talented, but it was an interesting freshman class that had some talent.
Of course, DG is the only survivor, much like Scott and Jamie are the only survivors of their class.
