he needs to hit those free throws at the end. That's going to kill us in close games like it almost did against Creighton.

I was thinking the same thing. I thought he was our go to guy for those free throws. Although I don't mind as much as long as he sinks those treys. He's pulled more than his own weight so far this season.

It's tough to shoot free throws when you have the entire team on your back....

Epic fail at the OP. How bout DG not go 5/24 and we don't need those free throws. DG needs to get other guys involved. He won't shoot us to victory. Drive and kick out to Scotty, Jake, and Ejim. We won in spite of him today. Scotty is the key to our team. DG is too, his ego will determine how good this team will be. He needs to be like Ty Lawson in decision making. At UNC ty only took over when he had to. DG, 10 of his shots were horrid decisions. I don't know who said it that if DG takes 15 or more shots a game we won't win. Scotty going for 30 is the only reason that wasn't the case.

I guess I don't see it as complaining. I see it as a 90% free throw shooter that should make his free throws at the end of the game.

I disagree that we won despite him,but it wouldn't have been close if he makes a normal % of his shots.

He should make those free throws, no excuses. I don't care if he made 10 3-pointers and scored 50 points. You need to make the free throws.

I could imagine it's very difficult to hit freethrows when the entire team is riding on your back. Ok, Ejim had a good game too, but still... scotty carried us last night.
