I think that you're thinking of Tyrone Appleton, who was another JuCo kid that KU signed in the same class as Little. Nothing I can find says Little ever had any interest in ISU.

Also OU is not a basketball school. Nobody goes to there games. The record says they do well in basketball normally. It's just nota school that anyone down in Oklahoma cares about when it comes to basketball. They are like Iowa.
    except good at football.
The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

I remember there being some strange details surrounding the Dunn deal. Something like his girlfriend said he didnt do it on purpose, but her dad thought he did...something like that. I think that is why it went from being really serious at the beginning to not that big of a deal (as far as assulting women goes... )

Well, maybe he wasn't going to play as much as he wanted to anyhow; he and Releford are backup threes, and Releford has had the better season so far.

Mizz - Starting PG Dixon suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules.

KU - Mario Little - arrested last night, charged with battery.

NU - German center likely to quit and (try to) go pro.

That's quite a list the last 48 hours!!

    I blame the officials!

TJ Taylor was a guard that we really wanted early in the recruiting process for 2010. He committed to OU early though. Would have been nice to have him here.

This. Tyrone Appleton was the kid they got that we wanted. He would have been a great compliment inside with Brackins. He flamed out at KU and I think is playing for UNLV. Correct me if I am wrong on his current school.

No Mario. We were in his top 3 out of juco. Here is one link. We were actually in his top 2. Then KU, Illinois, and K State jumped in. I actually thought we would end up getting him early. Then late to many schools got in on him.

I think you're thinking of Quintrell Thomas, a power forward from Jersey, who transfered to Vegas. ISU, as far as I know, wasn't ever a big player in his recruitment. Appleton was the JuCo guard who was down to ISU and KU. He also flamed out at KU, and I think he's out of basketball altogether now.

I want to say he would have been better off here, but the pile of flamed-out bodies is too large.

Actually... It would probably be more likely that the backup replacing the guys that are suspended would drop 40 points on us.
